Em seu novo livro, &#8220;Bent Object of My Affection&#8221; (objeto curvado da minha afei\u00e7\u00e3o&#8221;, em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o livre do ingl\u00eas), o fot\u00f3grafo afirma que se concentrou na express\u00e3o &#8220;das muitas maravilhas e raz\u00f5es do amor&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>O fot\u00f3grafo usa filmes, talheres, frutas, livros e fita adesiva em cenas engra\u00e7adas e, algumas vezes, mais apimentadas.<\/p>\n<p>Border disse que come\u00e7a seus trabalhos fazendo um rascunho das situa\u00e7\u00f5es, para depois pensar em como a cena poderia retratar pessoas, como elas reagiriam e quantos personagens s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios para cada obra.<\/p>\n<p>O artista come\u00e7ou a carreira como fot\u00f3grafo comercial, at\u00e9 que come\u00e7ou a fazer esculturas com arame como um hobby. Segundo Border, os trabalhos com arame come\u00e7aram depois que ele achou uma antiga caixa de ferramentas de seu av\u00f4.<\/p>\n<p>Depois de expor seus primeiros trabalhos em galerias, o
